The lion head man is floating/falling towards the tiny steel platforms while the rear lion man guides him by his belt. At certain points in the story the front man would launch up to land standing on the thighs of his partner and the lion would tower over the crowd as the drums and cymbals crashed on.
Note the other members of the troupe crouching on the pavement to catch any missteps. Their services were not needed during this particular performance.
The lion head's are enormous and contain battery packs to power the glowing eyes.
After the performance we met the young man who played the egg head man. He had extensive tattoos and piercings and was proud to report that the the whole group- thirty people or more- was from Rajaburi.
